The BETA is great. Can't wait until 1.0, but I have a suggestion.

Why don't you guys make Torque X free and a special editor for Torque X free too? We already have to pay $100 USD to get the game on Xbox 360.

Lol. perhaps so that the company stays in the black, they can keep their jobs and have funds for R&D for more innovations like this one?

Microsoft just made the announcement a couple days ago that Creators Club memberships will now also get you TGBX and TorqueX binary. :)

They made a press release. I can't find it, but here's an article that mentions it. It's a brand new deal, we haven't even made a statement about it yet, though we will very soon.

Also, not to be contrary, but $100 for a tool like TGBX is very cheap (even if it weren't bundled with TGB).

That's why both have a thirty day trial for those who are just getting started. Personally, I think that Unreal Engine 3 should be released for free.

Lol, I can't wait until this becomes official, I'll buy the XNA creators club and then get Torque X and make killer games.

You don't need TGBX to build scenes in TX. You can use the straight XML. Obviously this isn't ideal, but I believe Josh did this mostly at the GDC 4 games in 4 days.

Edit: or he just saw that his screen was about to be on the plasma and opened up the xml just to annoy me ;)
