FAQ needed?

I just realized why so many people in these forums are being driven so crazy..and go off on people. There are no 'stickies' or pinned posts at the top of the forum that says "READ HERE FIRST BEFORE POSTING" or "FAQ" or "NEW USERS READ FIRST" ... etc.. Maybe that would cut down on the amount of questions that get asked a million times, and keep people from flaming new users when they ask "can this be done?"

If I knew all the faq's I'd help make it, or you could send a some easy ones and I'll help write it.

And the best part is, if we don't cover something, a new user can post a new question on the TDN FAQ I create, and we can find the answer and cover it. . .would be a beautiful thing

I only see one problem. Only people who buy it can access the TDN, but it's still a great idea for new users.

I agree with mb, it would take care of some of the questions, but people who haven't bought it yet wouldn't have the access to look it up. Still a good idea though :)

I'm not sure if the forums support this feature, but I agree that stickies would be an excellent feature to have. I will look into this.

I can create a TDN of FAQs this weekend, and we can just post the link as a response to said "can this be done" threads.
