Request: Object Type List

Since we're allowed to make object types, it would be nice if, after making one, it appeared in a list so that I don't have to retype the object name for every object I want to make that type.

It shows in TGB-X as well....just left click on any area without an object, and select Edit mode->Scripting I think it is.

If I click on an object and go to Edit -> Scripting I get the field for object type and that green + button. There's no list. Everytime I want to give an object a type I have to type the type name in over again. It gets really tedious when you have a lot of objects of the same type. What I'm asking is that after you type in the first one and hit that + button, you can now access that name from a list for subsequent object types just like you can do with components. I wouldn't even mind if I had to put the object types in the same file as components if it's a problem to set it up in the program, although it'll be a pain having to close the program and reopen it everytime I create a new object type, but that's less of a pain than having to retype the same things over and over.

Huh? If I do that I don't get a Scripting section. There's nothing to script for.If I click on an object and go to Edit -> Scripting I get the field for object type and that green + button. I'll make sure the TGB-X team gets your suggestion, I can see both good points and bad points about what you mean :)

My bad, I meant Scene Data section I didn't realize you meant while editing specific objects however, I thought you just wanted a reference list of object types you've defined.I'll make sure the TGB-X team gets your suggestion, I can see both good points and bad points about what you mean :)
