HELP: can't open my project

I'm using Tutorial base to change my level and I followed the instructions in the tutorial, but the world editor and GUI don't recognize my folder, it only has 'creator', 'tutorial.base' and 'common'.
Do I need to do something special before the world editor and GUI see my new project?
edit: I reinstalled Torque and now it does load the right file (checked with the GUI) but the world editor is stuck at 'waiting for server'. So I was thinking it could be my internet connection, but that works fine.
Please help me!
