Torque Export Hanging Up!?

Could someone please help!

First of all, I am using v2.42 and I have only been using Blender for about a month so I'm still a noob!

I have created a model w bones and have had it as various stages of completion for the past few days
struggling w/ the Tourque Export. Currently when I try to export, it just sits there and does nothing - then the app freezes!

I am aware of a couple issues w/ /my file(although I'm unaware of how to resolve the issues.

1) I do not have the mesh parented to the bones (because of some serious distorting issues when I attempt)
2)I have previously attempted to animate the model, and am unaware of how to remove the keyframe at this point.

If someone could please take a look at the model, I would be SO appreciative! I'm sure it'something very simple, but at this point I am at a loss!

All I can say is WOW! Thanks so much Joseph.
I'm gonna try and attack this on Saturday. I'll let you know the outcome.

Although i dont use blender, and really couldn't understand most of this page, i just wanna throw in an additional WOW to joseph as well. That was a lot of time you took, more than most could expect.

Joseph,

I've now cleaned everything up (removed the duplicate groups, and made all my faces normal), but now when I try to export, the exporter doesn't even do anything at all - it says "Python Script Error:Check Console". When I look at the console, it says "KeyError- StripMeshes"????

I have also added a imageMap.

Again, any help would be appreciated! I've spent so much time up to this point, I'd hate to abandon it.

Joseph,

So, making progress on this end! I've got my model into the viewer successfully w/ texture applied.
Now comes the next problem which I know you hear everyday. My animation is all fouled up.

Now, I have read quite a few of your replies to posts in here, and I know what the issue is (i think), but I am having an issue. I have unparented the mesh from the armature, armature from blanks so on, and I am trying to set my location and rotaion back to zero. I have done this successfully, but the problem is the "0" location and rotation for the mesh and the armature arent in the same places. How can I make them line up?

Also, how dou you "Delete" actions once they are created?

thanks again

Again, thanks for being so helpful. I've got that issue taken care of.
Now hopefuly my last issue. This may not be the place to ask this, but here it goes anyways:

When i'm loading my model in Game Builder, the thumbnail inside the "3D Shapes" tab is cropping my model.
Thusly, when I drag the model thumbnail onto the Game window, it is cropped as well. I am only seeing a "front view" of the model - the models waiste ? Is this something I am doing wrong on the Blender side, or is this something that must be adjusted on the Game Builder side?

thanks again
