Exporting a DTS with LOS-Collision

by Martin Busse · in Artist Corner · 02/26/2007 (3:04 am) · 6 replies

I need help to export a DTS-File with LOS-Collision in Blender.
I tried alot of Tutorials in the forum, but nothing worked. (LOS-0, LOS-9, Collision_0_LOS rename mesh/object etc...)
I'm using newest Blender and Exporter version.

a .Blend file that exports only a Box as LOS-Collision-Mesh would be a big help for me.

Thanks,
Martin

Thank you,
the LOS-Collision mesh from your .Blend file is invisible in the ShowToolPro.

Thanks,

The LOS-Collision-Mesh acts like a normal Collision-Mesh (Blocking the Player) and has no shadow on the ground, but it blocks the Sun (the LensFlare).

A Bug?

Looks like there a two small bugs:

The first one LOSCollision mesh is blocking the Player.

The second: I created a flat block as .dif file, when i place a .dts on the .dif i get a shadow, when i place the .dts a little bit over the .dts i get no shadow. This looks like a bug inside the engine, i am using TGE 1.5 with the "Optimization Kit". I will take a look on the engines source code.
