Water inside of interiors?

I tried to find a solution for this by using the search, but I completely failed, so this is why I am asking for help ;)
I am working on an interior, which needs some water. The sewers of a laboratory. I know, that it is possible to get water inside by just making one wall invisible, but that way, you can see the exterior AND the water is only visible as long as you face the invisible wall. Is there any way to get water *inside* of an interior?
I use the Valve Hammer Editor for interiors.
Oh btw. there is another thing...flickering lights. I created some flickering lights, but they don't show up in TGEA. Any idea what I might have been missing?
Thanks in advance
