Torsion 1.1.006 still doesn't work right

by Terence Tan · in Torsion · 02/22/2007 (2:29 am) · 5 replies

Not sure, but Torsion has been getting progressively worse these last few days. Our project is getting fairly sizable and after a days work using torsion, it progressively get's slower and slow. Eventually all the icons start dissapearing and everything goes haywire..

Did I just spring a memory leak? Not doing anything really memory taxing. Just editing GUI windows and but I run/restart Torsion a bit to debug. I will do a memory check on allocated memory, see if I am causing any problems but it looks so far Torsion related.

@Terence - I've been able to track down the problem and it should be gone with the next 1.1 beta release scheduled for next week.

@Tom I don't know if this was asked/answered yet, are there plans to make betas available (as optional) via the Help -> Check New Version ? By optional I mean, a preferences parameter could be set (like Eclipse IDE has) where we can say; when we check for a new version go ahead and download betas and/or download release candidates.

Thanks.

FYI. New build up!

@A Herrera - We could, but it's a low priority change IMO.
