Crashed attempting to run at unsupported Res

I ran the examples at 1600x1200x32 Full-Screen on my desktop, Zipped up the project and tried it on my laptop. It crashed, but not gracefully.

I had a couple co-workers try it and they both crashed too in different ways (from what they tell me). I thought it would be more elegant than that and downgrade or something.

I've not looked to see what the TGE behavior is.
