Undo Function is not working

Hi All,
I am new to Torque World Editor. After configuring I am getting Terrain Landscape which has already created. Now I want to Create I own Terrain, while clicking New Mission from File menu. It's again loading default terrain instead of plain surface. Please let me know what I should do for getting Plain checker surface for creating terrain. And also the undo is not working (ctrl+z) is not functioning.
