Roatation with RTSUnits.

Ok, I am fed of this.
Why is rotating an RTSUnit smoothly, such a difficult task?
It is so jumpy and will not just rotate to any angle. Also it will often interpolate the rotation the long way around, eg rotating through just under M_2PI in one direction rather than a small amount in the correct direction.
Also the X rotation is coming out as 0 about once every 0.6 seconds. despite the Y and Z being fine.
Also after a while the rendered RTSUnit's rotation gets further and further behind after turning a lot.
If anyone thinks they have come across anything like this on their travels, please speak up and I'll be happy to provide more information and code.
