HELP a noob with ai

Hi Guys!

I want to buy adam pack.Does it come with a script that tels you how to put him in the torque game engine?

AI how do i make my caracter shoot at me and walk around? I know AI has something to do with it but i dont know how it works. can some wone help me with both questions.

Best bet is to go through the various tutorials out there first. Even if they have little to do with AI, they will get you more familiar with the engine, and you will be better informed of what you need out of your AI and how to go about getting that information. Also, searching the forums (or just browsing the AI portion) should turn up a wealth of knowledge.

Your best bet for the simple AI stuff is listed in a tutorial on the TDN:

Thanks guys I apresheate it.one thing thou wen i buy the adam pack does he come with a folder that tels me how to put him in the torque game ingine? once again THANKS!

Morris,

Short answer: Yes. Instructions are included.

Long answer: The instructions tell how to install Adam into starter.fps but the hard part is learning how exactly the player characters work (scripting) and what actions are needed to create a player.

AI is a whole other animal. Look at the link Gavin Bunney posted as well as searching the site as AI is much discussed.
