I would like to know if the TGEA server builds on Linux. If not, does TGE build on Linux?
Thanks!

TGEA works on Linux if you ifdef/remove the GFX layer. Some minor tweaks might be needed in later releases (we use 4.0).

Presumably the whole of GFX should already be #ifndef DEDICATED out?Gary (-;

That is unfortunetly (MS4 and previous versions) not the case, Gary.

Did someone try it with the Version 1.8? I did not take a look at the code so far but would like to know if it's easier with 1.8?

It's worse with 1.8 - theres a bug in 1.8 where running in dedicated mode tries to open up a GUI still, it's on Alex's list of things to fix in 1.8.1 when that is released
