Please help a torque using n00b :)

Hi peops, just got torque and im a noob at it, ive been modeling for combat flight sim 3 for a while but that got boring :(, now im ready to start modeling with modern torque :D, im using 3d studio max 8.0 combined with the max2dtsexporter.dle plugin, so my first step was to try and export a basic shape to test if it worked...unfortunately when i tried to make a basic square and replace the healthkit model i got something that looks like this:

can any of you pr0's tell me what im doing wrong please, i would be really happy because ive been pulling my hair out for the past few hours trying to figure it out - i dont have much hair left now :D *begs*

Hi, just tried to view my model in torque show tool pro and it doesnt show up *confused* :(

Could anyone make me a basic square and the dummies i would need (in 3dstudio format) please :), with the correct naming so i can get the basic jist of things and how it works...i did say i was a n00b :)

I can send you a basic max 8 scene of something, and probably some scripts for max/torque

Or Chapter 8.0 on exporting objects, and characters?
If not search chapter 8.0
Or go to the Torque Artist Page. There should be Docs available to you
on how to do this.

Also check out the Torque Developer Network. They have a simple shape tutorial for just about every 3d package that can export to .dts.

EDIT: Also, I am not sure if this would help, but insead of replacing somthing, just try to create a new object. Simply copy the DTS file, with textures, into your static shapes folder with the appropriate name, and then see waht happens.
