Except for the HUD/GUI bits (and they are quite nice, too!) the rest of the in-game screenshots are stock Torque in the Scorched Earth mission. Funny that they don't mention Torque or GG anywhere on their site ...

I'm not going to say anymore because I don't want to accuse someone of something they might not have done.

When a project switches engines dozens of times and doesn't seem to keep the community informed of those changes it's a sign that it probably isn't for real.

This project seems like a very few (I won't say which) Torque projects that have been PR mongers and fairly seperate from the GarageGames community.

What did annoy me was how they used (as Ken pointed out) default Torque artwork and labeled it as their own creations. Even funnier was how they don't mention Torque anywhere on their site, and say "we switch to [another engine they'll never use]" about thirty times in their forums.

I almost feel bad for all those people they've caught in their forums. They really think it's coming in 2003 and will support over a million people per server.

Um, even worse, they are not Torque SDK owners. I'll check into it. Thanks for the heads up.

I saw that site a couple days before I purchased the SDK, then I bought it and thought "What the hell? I think I've seen this before." Now I know where ;)

Did someone just post my previous project's story under his name?

It's scary how similar that is to what I went through. Maybe some kind of parallel failed development universe has crossed or something?
