So what happened to CVS?

Been a while since our team tried to get unstable versions from CVS, but no more CVS? When did this happen and is there a new SVN place for devs to go?

Really good question, any one?

Its dead. They decided to stop using it. All future updates will be in your account download and you will have to pay attention to the News section for when they release an update. So basically any fixes for bugs or any improvements you see in the forum, snatch them up because it could be a while before you get an update through GG.

SVN is not available for the public and the word was that they were probably not going to make it public either.

Yeah I already asked all of these questions too and they responded.

What would be the legality of starting a TGE project and inviting lead coders from major TGE projects into a private SVN repo where they all have Commit access, and creating Read Only accounts for any legit TGE owners that request it based off the GG site info (sent to email, locked username, random pass etc).

So that then there is a large pool of maintainers and fairly easy commit process.

We have a big web server.

@Tom - All source control repos are internal now, only accessible by employees, contractors, and Associates.

I do not know about the Realm Wars code, though. Might have to grab that from another community member.
