Purchase TGE 1.5, do you get access to 1.42 and TLK

I had a question about the purcahse of TGE 1.5.
Basically if I purchase TGE 1.5, will I also have access to the older 1.42 version as well as the TLK kit. I will be following the All in One book (second edition), and would like to follow along with the older version as well as the seperate lighting kit TLK.
In other words I would like to purchase the latest version, but have access to the older technology as well (1.42 + TLK).

however you should be able to download previous versions of TGE from CVS.
(mm, revision control Good!)
however,
i would recommend using the book with TGE 1.5.
the effort you'll have to put in to using the book with 1.5 will probably be small.

I don't think that the previous versions of TGE are available since they are separate download sections. I'm not sure, though, since I've had TGE for a long time and have both downloads in separate sections.

The class I am considering taking will have a hard fast rule with 1.4, to make sure all students use the same version. That is the reason for the question.

Because it's required for your class, you might be able to get access. This thread; TLK Resources? is for TGE 1.5 users gaining access to TLK resources, Eric may be able to grant you download access in this case.

The site's product access is not currently setup to do that. Most people should be using TGE 1.5 - it's a newer version of the Torque Lighting System and contains new features and optimizations.Because it's required for your class, you might be able to get access.
