Maya2DTS animation stripping problem

I have an animation that looks absolutely perfect in Maya 8 but when I export the file into ShowTool it looks different. It seems as if rotations on the bones are not being read correctly. (ie. the hips and spine rotations get stripped) Has anyone experienced this problem? BTW, I have exported 15 other anims with this character and they were spot on.

Does anyone know if there is a list of DO's and DONT's for animation laying around? I'm sure I'm doing one of the things on the latter list. :-)
