Is it me or ?

Listen,

Is it me? In chapter 5, I don't really see any ememies or should I say I see one, way of in the distance. He is just standing there. He really isn't chasing me, when I am running around the world trying to collect the coins. Now I have the first edition of 3DGPAI1, and went out and bought the second edition yesterday, and still the same results as far as gameplay is concerned. Another thing it took me a while to find the coins and all were the silver, I have yet to find a gold coin, and when looking for the coins my blue health meter runs down at an incredible rate, I have to wait about 3 -5 minutes for the meter to build back up. Any input on this would be great.

The chapter 5 Emaga has a few problems, but I don't think they defeat the purpose of the exercise. I seem to remember that the bad guys don't chase you, but they will shoot at you if you get too close. Here are some other notes I made several months ago:

Sometimes the enemies continue shooting after they die. Regarding your health, go into the file Control/server/players/player.cs and adjust the energy drain and recovery rate values. You may need to adjust them a few times to find values that work for you.

A note (based on an earlier post by Mr. Finney): you should copy tge.exe directly from the disc (in Resources/Ch5) instead of using the one from the chapter 5 install kit. The install kit version doesn't cause coins and other items to fade away after collisions. You can sit on a silver piece and be rich very quickly! If you use the version from resources/ch5, items fade normally.
