Game Tester: Will Work CRAZY hours
by Paul Nntk · in Jobs · 12/13/2006 (11:35 am) · 8 replies
Hello potential employer!
My name is Paul Kekejian and I am an excited, highly motivated sponge of a college student ready to soak up any information you send in my general direction. I'm willing to work very long hours on extremely tedious projects so long as I'm surrounded by games.
Please take some time to have a look at my profile where I have posted my full resume as well as my Email address (paul.kekejian@uconn.edu in case its not there for some reason). I hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
Paul Kekejian

You can also watch the blogs as some people post .plans with links to their demo games. You can spend time playing their games and ofering feed back in that fasion. I am working on a rather simple card game and when it is ready for some testing it will be posted up there for anyone who wants to try it.

Tried to get in touch with you, but your email keeps bouncing back.
I'm co-owner of Black Jacket Studios in Portland, OR. We're in need of regular testers on our project. We don't have a budget for testing at this stage, but we can offer a credit on our next title, and hopefully an hour of fun each sunday.
If you've got a fast rig, and high-speed internet...and a free hour each week, we'd love to have you join us.
You can reply to me at weston@blackjacketstudios.com

I have some free time and I would like to take you up for the credit.
I just finished school about a month ago.
I went to school for Game design as well and I would appreciate anything that would help me
get my foot in the door. I was actually thinking of moving to Portland OR. in February.
Thank you.

Morrie, this is not your topic. Do not do stuff like this in peoples topics. It is rude and ruins things for them.

I wasn't trying to be rude.
I figured since most game companies have more than one tester I would post here,
instead creating a whole new post. If everyone posted for positions on the forum I thought
hmm thats all the forums would be full of.
I'm sorry I didn't mean to intrude or be rude.

Well I'm glad Morrie replied, especially since I didn't get a reply from Paul. It's really hard to find good testers, we'll take them from anywhere we can find them.

Torque Owner Andrew Strauch
Good day. I was just looking over your post on Garage Games and the resume you posted.
I have a game in the design/concept art stages currently and am looking for people who are interested
in working with design components.
Were you just looking for something to spend time on or a paid position? Do you have any experience
with writing and/or game design? If so, how much were you expecting /hour ?
Let me know if you might be interested. I have a post on GG under Game Ideas called "Nightmare".
Thanks for your time.
