The model format used in TGE and TGEA is .dts and animations are stored in .dsq which can be exported from 3dsmax, lightwave, maya, milkshape and shaper and many more?

and for buildings it uses .dif which can be exported from a range of software also, including QuArk, Hammer, Cartography Shop and even 3dsmax. With the correct plugin, most require the map2dif tool provided in the SDK.

To get the exporter for your model/map software package at the TDN (Torque Developer Network)
    tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/Torque_Game_Engine#artist

Under here should have all the information you need for getting your art work in to TGE.
