Recommend free web hosting for demo and patch downloads?

I've been hosting my demo and patches on my own server, but I got an email from my ISP (Shaw Cable) complaining that I was violating the Acceptable Usage Policy.

So could someone recommend a free site so that I can host my demo and patches?

The iTools at apple.com is the best IMO, but if you dont use a mac its a bit hard to get an account(You can register accounts on macs but you can connect to the servers on both macs and pcs.)
It offers 20mb(but you can register unlimited number of accounts) space and no upload or bandwidth limit.
Oh, and no friggin ads.

Hmm.. if all you need is web hosting, any site may do, (as soon as you dont get too many hits) just go to google and search webhosting. I couldnt recommend it too much but brinkster (www.brinkster.com) at least does the job.

However if you are ready to start beta testing your game, then for starters send a description of it to the garagegames staff and a request, post some screenshots at Snapshot of the day.

Garagegames is getting an agreement with homelan to host games over there (even for beta testing) if you qualify (meaning your quality is above or at the level of realm wars) then you will get hosted as soon as thats done.

I only need about 20Mb. My Alpha demo is no where near up to the level of Realm Wars. It's basically the demo program with team play and friendly fire implemented, and buggy at that. I just wanted to give some copies out so I could do some testing of the features I've added.

Luckily I managed to implement a static bot that can be allocated to either team. Also, an old friend offered to host the files on his server, so thankfully my demo is available again. Hopefully you won't rush there and download it as you might (will) be very disappointed!!! lol
