#1 1) Make sure you have DirectX 9c installed www.microsoft.com/directx

2) Make sure you have the latest drivers for video cards (address depends on your card manufacturer)

#3 I assume you ran the TSE/TAT demo
With requires a graphic card that support minimum pixil shaders 1.1
if your video card doesnt support them Torque Shader Engine (TAT) wont run on your computer. If your card does install the latest version of Microsoft Direct X .
Updating your video drivers can also help.

If your card however doesnt support pixel shaders then you should consider using TGE or if you want to make a next-gen game upgrade you videocard.

Typical nvidia cards that support pixel shading are Geforce 3 and above (except 4)
For more info type "dxdiag" in the command line (start -> execute)

#4 Will any of that stuff cost me anything?

Because I already need to spend like $500 some for all the things I need to build my MMORPG.

#5 If your video card is old(doesnt support pixel shaders) and you want to use TAT
then YES else NO

#12 Thats What I am trying to do. I am trying to install the lastest driver but it keeps saying what that erorr message says.
