HowTo Shrink-wrap external surface model mesh

Who know how to extract the external surface or triangles of a mesh (Shrink-wrap)?

I use 3ds max 7

exist some program, tool, plugin etc...?

Ok, i find the answer sending an email to okino polytrans:

"This is called "Alpha hulls". ProE calls it "Shrink wrap". I do not do any modelling work in my PolyTrans product so unfortunately I cannot provide such an algorithm to you."
