FPS difference with ATI vs. nVidia with TGE 1.4 vs. 1.5

After merging our project from modified 1.4 base into 1.5 I've found some really strange difference.
Running same mission on ATI chipset the FPS difference from 1% upto 10%.
Running same mission on nVidia chipset the FPS: difference from 15% upto 40%.
Meaning nVidia with 1.5 is much slower.
Some real numbers in "my test mission" (P4 3GHz, 1GB [2x512MB Dual] RAM):
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256MB + TGE1.4 = 80FPS
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256MB + TGE1.5 = 78FPS
nVidia 5900XT 128MB + TGE1.4 = 130FPS
nVidia 5900XT 128MB + TGE1.5 = 100FPS
nVidia 6800GT 256MB + TGE1.4 = 220FPS
nVidia 6800GT 256MB + TGE1.5 = 140FPS
bad, I don't have another ATI card available to perform some more test.. but anyway, this info is enough to see the difference.
Is anyone knows what is in TGE1.5 base that "eats" more comparing to 1.4??
P.S. Another "strange" stuff we found - on one PC (WinXP SP2) from some moment the TGE1.5 started to show only 64 FPS. Doesn't matter what is displayed on screen (mainMenuGui or world). When you drop in the world, - 64FPS, but when you do some movings it's starting to show "normal" FPS. Second PC - all seems to be okay. Strange. But hey, it's Microsoft! :)

Seriously tho, i hope that Sean is correct, if TGE 1.5 has a serious problem with nVidia cards GG has got to get on it, +50% of the graphics end user markets uses nVidia chips..

I notice this issue when i change my old ati 1600xt by nvidia 7600gt...
To normalize the fps is necessary restart torque application once or more times or move with free cam to sky where any tris is rendered (not in all case this work)...
Torque version: modified 1.4 .
CPU: Intel core 2 6300
windows xp service pack 2
Video: nvidia 7600gt
any Idea to fix this?

With me, my nvida 7600gt, sometimes torque start at 45fps (my game already is too big) in this case is normal. But occasionally, torque start at 8-12fps... the same game, the same files!!!I notice this issue when i change my old ati 1600xt by nvidia 7600gt...
