MountedObjects shadows

Has anyone else noticed that when a ShapeBase derived object with mountedObjects (NOT mounted Images) casts a shadow, that the mounted object's shadows are MUCH darker than the parent object? I wonder if it has to do with the shadow map size. My main object is a ship with many smaller mounted peices. The shadow maps arent getting combined or something apparently.

Also setCloaked for mounted objects doesnt work in MS4 either, but does for mountedImages. Nice. Freaking ridiculous.
