Bug when switching resolution (?)

I'm encountering something really strange with TGE 1.5.
I first saw it in our current prototype but after having made some tests with the TGE 1.5 Torque Demo it's clear that it may touch every game made with TGE 1.5.
To sumarize it seems that if you switch screen resolution you need to quit and relaunch the game to take full advantage of the new resolution and to have better FPS.
Here some tests I made with the first 3 scenes of the Torque Demo (Interactive Walktrough) :
Game #1 is the same game session. For Game #2 I restart the Torque Demo.
It's not really annoying on a machine like mine because only the higest FPS are impacted but it may be more annoying on lower configurations.
I use an Intel iMac 24", tests on others computers are welcomed.
Note : Even with 250 fps I still have jittering issues when flying above the empty terrain (2nd scene).
