Seamless upgrades

I just came back to Torque after having done a lot of scripting mods a few years ago.

I just upgraded from 1.3 to 1.4 last week. It involved me re-installing certain resources and then making several other scripting changes.

NOw I want to upgrade to 1.5 this week but I'm not looking forward to doing all that work again.
Is it safe to simply plop the 1.5 engine into the old folder where all of my 1.4 files are? Is this risky? If I've only made scripting changes, what is the most seamless way to upgrade? I'm sure that there will be an incremental upgrade to 1.5 and I don't want to have to keep duplicating my work.
