NSIS Installer for SDK 1.5.0 and ShowTool failed.

Greetings.

The new TGE SDK v1.5.0 Win32 installer (NullSoft Install System v2.21)
(TorqueGameEngineSDK-1-5-0.exe) fails with an anoying 'NSIS Error' MB
that reads 'The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete (...)'.
The file is OK (72.4 MB, 75931689 Bytes) and runs with an '/NCRC' flag
specified at a command line. The same happens with the TGE ShowTool Pro
Win32 installer. But, in this case, the executable installed (TorqueShowToolPro.exe)
doesn't run, is not a valid Win32 executable.

Can anyone help? Can someone at GarageGames verify the
integrity of the files uploaded to the website?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Rui Bras

If others are able to download the files ok, then it could be your internet connection. Are you able to download a 50-100meg file from another server such as source forge and install it fine? If so, download memtestx86 and let it do a long check of your memory.

I had a problem some time back where a ram stick had partially died, windows seemed to work fine and games would still run, but when I downloaded and tried to extra a large file or run an installer I'd keep getting crc errors. Running memtest identified the problem ram stick.

Worth checking whilst waiting on a confirmation from someone else as to whether the downloads were fine for them or not.

Thanks Gary.

I've solved the problem. It seems that the GG server didn't like my download manager!

Thanks again.
