How would one sign up to be a beta tester for the Tribes 2 update?

YES, i would LOVE to test the final patch out...We all know how the other patches did...

we have not been given any idea of timeframe, either for the beta or the final, other than the final being done "sometime later this summer".
the Update Patch Pack (that's my marketing term, take that Marweas) will possibly affect all sorts of user mod and add-on projects. some community members have even suspended their work until the patch is released...
I think it would be great if a GG staffer can give us some idea of a best guess at a timeframe for at least the beta ;)
I guess E3 should be over now, hopefully we'll get a staffer to help us out here.

we have been told that "soon" there will be a beta sign-up form somewhere here at Garage Games.we have not been given any idea of timeframe, either for the beta or the final, other than the final being done "sometime later this summer".

I know that the Tribes 2 update is only a small part of GG's business, but I'm kind of disappointed that we didn't get any responses to these threads :(
if we asked the same thing in the TribalWar forums, Marweas from Sierra would have at least insulted us a couple of times by now ;)

I guess Sierra decided to handle the beta testing themselves... here's the thread from Sierra:
http://community.sierra.com/WebX?230@221.gFRGaH7qLBB^0@.ef7ae6e
As per their post, the file is supposed to be here:
http://ftp1.sierra.com/patches/pc/si_tribes2_beta_24834-24947.exe
...but I haven't been able to download it from there. So for now I'm mirroring the file off of my site:
http://www.lexor.tk
the link address is in today's news.
Please keep in mind that since this is a BETA .EXE file, coming from a 3rd party, be careful !!! it could have bugs, viruses, etc etc. you have been warned.
