TGE 1.5 and Lighting Kit

Will a purchase of TGE 1.5 give me full access to all lighting kit resources, forums and such?

Yes, I understand that but will we get the same access to lighting kit online resources as if we purchased the actual lighting kit.

Im assuming that when the integrated it they changed it a bit (possibly quite a bit)... so im assuming it might not be all that helpfull to have access to the TLK forums. Of course, all that's all based on assumptions.

"They" didn't change it; they worked closely with John Kabus to get everything integrated. Owing to that, and the fact that a standalone license of the Lighting Kit would be moot from TGE 1.5 onwards, I'd be inclined to think that the resources will be merged.

Tlk is already integrated in 1.5 No extra work needed.

TLK resources will most likely not cleanly drop into 1.5 due to the number of changes that have been made to 1.4.2/1.5. However, chances are you can hand merge in the various resources without any major issues.

My friend asks me if he needs to buy 1.4 before getting 1.5? He's interested in getting Torque.

Now would be the time to buy 1.4, as it would upgrade for free to 1.5 (IIRC).

My mistake, if you buy 1.4 now, you will get 1.5 free. In fact, if you haven't bought TGE yet, you can save money by buying it between now and the official release of 1.5. Sorry for the confusion.

NO, 1.4 was the last free upgrade. If you buy 1.4 now, you will have to pay to upgrade to 1.5.--edit--

Until 1.5 is released, you can still purchase 1.4 and receive the 1.5 upgrade for free.However, as soon as 1.5 is released, this grace period will be over.
