Since new to Torque have a few questions
1. What software is Torque and peaple from mydreamrpg using (3dstudio, Blender ..ect)
Like to use software there using to create objects in the game. (houses, docks and ect..)
Been using the software Delgine to create buildings and varous objects in the game. I like the software able to create things fairly easy. But the problem run into is when creating object into mass size the software exporter that changes the .map to a .dif file locks up and dies. Also using some there features cause final producted to come out looking like when thur war world III. Dont get me wrong there going work for areas in the game. Less time having to create the effect, lol
2. If choose to use 3dstudio or other program, is there a exporter for there file types to convert them to a .dif format?
If anyone is out there and has the time to chat over working in a 3d world and give me some help to get up on my feet? Rather not spent next year learning something then to find out that went the down the wrong road. So easy to get a pencil and draw out ones ideas on a paper. Figure that drawing in a 3d world like playing chess, must think 3 to 5 steps ahead of the game.
3. And there any good books peaple can recommend that help me in my quest here learning ?
Know there more can ask but figure these the basics, thanks for any help in advanced on this subject.

2. Yes, there are exporters for 3ds to export to .map files, but it's always better to use a program that is dedicated to creating interiors as dif's are very finicky with how things are built.
I would suggest grabbing Quark and start reading the documentation that comes with it. Grab it here:

Good luck!
