There is going to be a game dev event in Montreal on November 9th. Check out the details here...

The distingushing feature about this event is that you must make a game that takes line input and uses the music somehow in your game. Should be pretty cool. I will be attending with a creation made using TGB so if you're planning attending let me know. We can talk it up over a drink.

My new news about the event is that the games from the Gamma01 event will be shown this year at the Experimental Gameplay workshop (http://www.experimental-gameplay.org/) at GDC this year! Now you should feel even more sorry you didn't make an entry at Gamma01! If you're going to GDC and are able to attend the experimental gameplay workshop stop by and let me know how it is. Sadly I will not be able to attend this year. Goatscape will be shown along side the other games that were first presented at the Gamma01 event.
Going back to your question Matt the event was really great. A few game industry notables were there including Tetsuya Mizuguchi, Greg Costikyan and Jason Della Rocca. A good time was had by all. I'm sure there were a few others I didn't get a chance to talk with.

Well this is an extremely late reply but I didn't have that "Notify me of reply" deeley checked so I didn't notice anyone replied after my post on November 17th. Anyways.... I have some new follow up information to report anyway.
