Constructor question

Hi

Any new date on Constructor yet ?
havent seen any update in a while. Are the product still in to be released ?

No date yet... but they've made a ton of progress. My personal guess is that you'll see a release in the next 3-4 months.

I hope it answered many question about creating map for torque!

I have been away for a while. I was wondering...from what I understand, Torque X will have 'poly soup collision' detection? Which would mean you can simply create your levels in say...3dsmax? I really hate BSP based editors!!! Specially now that most game levels seemed to be made in Max or Maya... I wonder how much 'FREEDOM' we have with Constructor in creating shapes??? I say ta hell with Constructor and allow TGE for poly soup collision...

Define "most". Are you talking about "most" games that you play or want to create or "most" games on the shelves at EB or that sell millions of copies? How many of them are using a licensed engine or one that was created from scratch with a team of tool programmers and a restrictive set of artist guidelines?
