So basically yom kippur is a jewish holiday and is the start of the new jewish year. So on Yom Kippur, you go to services and stuff and sometimes have parties and stuff like that. So for jewish stuff, Yom Kippur is like your trying to start a good new year and breaking habits and stuff from last year.

Oh yeah and did I mention you get to get out of school for a like 1-3 hour service then have the rest of the day free? Mwahahaha. My service is one hour but Matans is probably like 3 hours I bet...
