As per the writing of the DTS Exporter Documentation, the "bounds" or "bounding box" object is just a simple Box geometric shape that is craeted it in the create/geometry rollout of Max. The box needs to be larger than the object that you wish to export and its pivot point by default should be located at the exported objects ground position.

For future reference can you please thoroughly read the entire DTS Exporter Documentation before you post a question like this in the future? I don't mean to sound rude with that comment, but answering a question like this is poor use of my (and anyone elses) time because you could have found the answer by doing a very minor amount of research on your part to begin with.

Edit: Also for future reference can you please post your art related questions in the correct section of the GG forum, it will help keep things organized.
