Space fighter

Hi, i have this cool idea of a space fighter game,wher each player is in a space ship and then its unreal tournament deathmatch style from there,

however i have no idea how i am going to make this no gravity, no terrain, and free manuvering, (so that some players miught be up-side down because they spun themselves) and that when one stops to accelerat, they continue to drift a bit)

i was just wondering if anyone has any resources, i searched but came up with a bunch of 1.2 version stuff that seems not to work with torque 1.4 anymore, so does anyone has any tips, hints, or link for me?

or even a better question! is this even possible? im an sdk owner so if i have too i can also mod the source:)
