To All Utah Area Indie's,
Our next Utah Indie Games Night will be held on Thursday, October 19th, at 7 pm at the new Ninja Bee offices in Orem. Thanks once again to Ninja Bee for hosting this event. Email me if you need directions to get there.
Again, format will be like last time, an informal get together to chat, eat pizza, talk about the industry, see what others are doing, show off your current project, etc. Please bring some cash to chip in for the pizza and munchies, if you can. Like last time introductions will be kept brief, and if you have a demo to show please let me know (if you haven't already), so we can plan on it better.
The event is open to anyone with an interest in Indie Games, so feel free to pass the word along.
If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Hope to see everyone there! ;)

Sorry you won't be able to make it this time, David. Hopefully it will work out better for you next time, which should be sometime in January. ;)

I'll be there to show our progress, Greg.

I'm pretty excited to get another look at it myself! It was already pretty impressive last time.

Thanks, guys, but don't get too excited...it probably won't look too dramatically different from last time. Any word on if some of the local schools are sending people?

There were supposedly fliers going out to a few local schools, but I haven't heard if they actually got posted. I'm pretty sure the word it out to some ITT students, so I'm sure we'll have some students show.

Oh man! I forgot you in Utah Rubes! Now I'm really bummed. And bummed about January since that's a killer time at work. It seems like every time is a killer time here at the day job.

Ah well, too bad. Pocatello isn't too far away...if you ever happen to be in Salt Lake, let me know. We can always have an impromptu, beer-related demo meeting.

Hope to see everyone there in Jan. (Yes, I will have something to show then, and you can hold me accountable. I just need to DO IT!)

We had an excellent turnout last night with around 40 people there. Lots of new and old faces. Thanks again to everyone that came. I feel I missed a lot, as there was just too much happening. Jay did another excellent writeup of the evening here.Hope to see everyone there in Jan. (Yes, I will have something to show then, and you can hold me accountable. I just need to DO IT!)
