The graphics are pretty interesting, using only black and white with an occasional bit of colour. There's also some excellent sound work here, something you really don't see(hear) very often.
Just a few critique's.
The demo looks pretty cool, but it doesn't give you much a feel for what the game plays like (you don't really have to solve any puzzles or anything).
Having an indicator for what areas you can right click on would be very nice.
A couple of the GUI's could be reworked to fit with the rest of the theme, though it's not a big deal.
You seemed to have the colour depth locked to 16 bit (the transprency on the particles was dithered), and I just figure it should probably be at 32. But maybe there is a performance gain, or you wanted the dithered transparency, I dont' know.
And it would look a lot nicer with Anti-Aliasing, though I've only heard mumbling about how to get that as a changable option from with TGE. I can manually activate it from my video card anyways.

Sorry for posting here, but we find a place to do it but, we didn't find anything so we stupidly chose here. :)
Wedge, thank you for your remarks, and YES, Victi is an adventure game with enigmas and all that stuff (go see that guy on the tumb, pray on the second sign, get back to that room, etc.), and talking about anti-alias, we did the best we could. :)
Otherwise, James, we're contacting you by mail in order to know if you're interested in publishing Victi.

To submit a Snapshot of the Day, go to "Snapshot Gallery" on the "Community" dropdown menu. There is a link to the submission form at the bottom of the page.
I agree that Victi looks very unique and cool. Congrats!

It has a personal style indeed. Remind me a bit of a recent CG movie "Renaissance".
Be sure to add enough color, maybe even full colored puzzle inside this black and white world. The risk with such contrasted B&W visual is to have a too sad world (peut-

The general inspirations were rather Frank Miller, Druillet...
And no, there are no puzzles with colours. We rather used them as a graphic assistance to the player, even though, at the start, we intended doing a 100% black & white game, but the result was much too dark... too bad :)

Victi is rather dark than sad and it's true that one of the game developers once worked for the company having made renaissance but we are not connected to themThe general inspirations were rather Frank Miller, Druillet...
