Animation Builder Save problems ????

by STEVENPANKRATZ · in Torque Game Builder · 09/17/2006 (4:49 pm) · 1 replies

When I am using the "Animation builder" in 1 1 1, I select 8 frames to use in my animation and I use the play button in the "Animation builder" to test it successfuly, but when I save it by using the "save animation" button, all that happens is that the "Animation builder" screen goes away. I cant find any files with the animation's name located any where. The animation doesnt show up in the "Animated Sprites" section of the main TGB GUI.

If you have any Ideas or have seen this please let me know, Thanks

Steven.

I figured out my problem. The image filename that the animation is based on contained a "Space" character, when I removed the "space" character from the default name the animation saved correctly. So the moral of the story is that one should not use spaces in naming files that animations are base on.

That was frustrating to figure out..........................
