Realtime Radiosity Bugs

Cloud of AI bugs tries to hide in the dark.. however you control the lights and hunt them. Realtime radiosity helps bug AI realistically hide behind objects etc..
With some effort, sometimes using reflected light, player is able to command bugs from one place to another.
However there's no mission or end yet. I have no resources to further develop this idea so I offer it to you. The most interesting part is the realtime radiosity, maybe you can use it in a completely different way.

Sounds really cool! Unfortunately it just crashes trying to run on my crappy X300 at work. I'll try it on my 6600GT at home later.

New version is online under the same link but I can't guarantee that I fixed the right thing because I don't have any Radeon at hand.
To try it, it's enough to get dee.cz/rrb/shaders.rar and unpack it over previous version (only 2 small files in directory shaders were modified).
If it doesn't help, as a fallback for you, 2 months old version tested on many Radeons is at dee.cz/rri/rrview.rar. It is only radiosity engine without AI bugs and with lower quality/speed, but it can give you some preview of technology.

You need at least GeForce 6100 or Radeon 9500. Well, I'm not sure with Radeons now, but I'll get one today and test it.

Doesn't work on my 9600XT, I tried both the game and the viewer and they both crash mysteriously.

Do you use the latest drivers (Catalyst 6.8)?

Nope, I'll update my drivers and see if it works.

I'm just back from shop with a shiny new Radeon with ugly creature on the box ;).. (ok no joking, marketing guys with GeForce cards believe in ugly creatures too) and both programs crash. I'm working on fix.

Wooo, it worked on my 6600GT at home. It ran decentley up until the pillar scene with global lighting (fine with global off). Really cool looking demo, purdy coloured lights.

Tested on X300 with Catalyst 6.8, but it should work on all from 9500 up.
Paul DElia: if you press '-', you lose soft shadows but fps gets 2-4x up

I managed to get it to work by disabling my second monitor - Awesome work!

one might be able to get around that by specifying a compatible resolution for the window via command line.
