Maya Node Animation Problem

I've been searching for about 2 days for anyone else who's had this problem but i've found nothing useful. This is in maya by the way.
Basically i'm using the Mounted Particle Emitter resource to make a fuse for a firework, and i have the fuse animated, moving into the rocket so it looks like its burning down. I've put a mount node called "mount0" under the fuse object in the hypergraph, and it works fine, it moves just how i want it to in maya. When i export it and look in TST Pro it looks fine too, i can mount stuff to the node and it moves along, but when i try ingame and mount something to it, when i play the thread, the mounted object stays where it is, along with the "bounding box" or whatever, so the only thing moving is the fuse object.
I've also tried animating the mount0, but nothing still. I am using TGE 1.4, with no engine mods.
Thanks for any help you can give!
(Sorry for posting this in the wrong section, i cant find the art one?)
