Discussion on selecet Team And Type of player

HI!
I use this resource www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=2312 for implement my game with select Team and i create a equals resource but for selcet a type of player (assault - medic ....etc etc)
BUT!!!!-----........
I use a team BLU and RED and i create a mode for have a assault BLU and RED .. medic BLU and RED ..etc etc
and i have this problem:
If my player "assault RED" change in "medic RED" DAM!! the type player not change why the team is equal!!
A metod for change a player type in EQUAL TEAM?
