Hi, Im converting the rw folder to pwrweapons folder,so i can learn how its done being prweapons is going to end up as my deathmatch i wnt it totaly seperate from single player (which basicly means dm is going to be a mod, eventualy)
i have removed all of rw's art and models and replaced them with my own keeping the script intact, except for the borders and buttons, the game breaks when i try replacing the chatHudBorderArray.png or just tri to remove it. (i havent tried the demo*.png's yet, cuz im afraid i will get the same results)
any ways can i just leave the borders and buttons in my deathmatch? or could someone tell me how do i convert then to the default torque borders and buttons...either way is fine with me.
thanks

FYI, to get transparent PNG's to save correctly in Photoshop 6, pick File:Save for Web. or "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S" Save and Save As do not work correctly

Only have Photoshop 5 myself (i'll get round to buying the upgrade one day) But thanks for the tip, maybe it'll work and I won't have to keep running all my art through PSP :)

If you have PS 5.5 then you should be able to use Image Ready to save... I haven't tried it though. Hopefully it is fixed in 7...

The image border Bitmap Arrays are a bit touchy... The CD Player script I submitted as a resource has an example of a new array .png.

thanks for the tip, i will check it out, i may just save where i am at and atempt to convert to the default stuff, cuz i reallly dont think i like the way its set up in rw (altho it looks nice ) hell i'd just as soon not haave any borders or fill for the chat , i may even try to get it to be like the quake(s) style

If not replace them with a different file type in the interface editor and save the hud file.
