Newbie - Making Maps

by Keith Watt · in Torque Game Engine · 09/02/2006 (10:35 am) · 4 replies

So I'm playing around with TGE, and I'm a little confused about the basics of making a map...

What is the simplest, easiest tool to use to make some simple interiors? I assume the world editor is fine for the outside, but what about, say, making a dungeon? What do I use for that?

Thanks - Keith

You can use:

Quark (free)

Hammer (free)

3D World Studio ($79.95)

Or wait until GG release Torque Constructor (price tba)

Hammer is easy to use if you want to make interiors/.dif's, but they have yet to change the EULA to allow you to legally use it for non valve games..
