Trees on the terrain - where is it?

I saw a forum post in which someone described a method they had come up with for creating large numbers of objects on the terrain (like trees) in torque. I looked around and did a couple of searches but couldn't find the discussion. Although I did find a reasearch paper on the subject in the resources section. Anybody know the number of the thread?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks guys. I was remembering Melv's tool - I haven't seen Phil's I don't think he ever posted it did he? Although it looks like some people have had a chance to try it. Or maybe I missed where it is located...Anyway thanks for the pointers. Now to look into a plan for populating across multiple terrain meshs.

I'd definitely recommend using Melv's replicator.

My stuff wasnt as good as Melv's replicator (although I guess I liked my solution as it was kind of cute).I'd definitely recommend using Melv's replicator.
