Entering the world of linux , wow that went smooth

Hi

I just installed ubuntu and as a total linux noob (first time I boot and already browsing the forum :) )
I wondered what i need and where I can get the stuff that I need to run torque

specs:

Pentium III 900
Geforce 2 mx 400

So what do i need to get started ?
