DSQ Exporter is exporting 3ds files??????

Hey, I have been making the animations for a character model in 3dsmax, and all was good . But recently my DTS Exporter Utility has been exporting .3ds files isnt of dsq files. I'm pretty confused and annoyed has anyone else had this happen to them? how did you fix it? What did i do wrong?
