TSE Shader Engine, AMD64

I want to press the button so bad, oh man, just a couple more bucks and you'll be mine....
I already have TGE, and thats great stuff.... my question is Will I have problems on AMD64 running/compiling/building TSE? I have a GeForce 6200TC with shader 3.0 support, so I think I'm fine there, but I know various things have had 64 trouble. Not neccessarily looking for 64bit support, just want it to run. I don't want to risk my $150 for something that will sit the plank for a while.
TIA,
Chris

The 6200TC is pretty shoddy huh? What specs should I be looking at with concerns to this?

I have an AMD64/Radeon 9500, and it runs fine AFAIK.

@Eric, Duh, good suggestion, forget there were demos.

If I recall the 6200TC (Turbo-Cache) only has 16 MB of actual onboard RAM, and uses a hack of swapping virtual memory on your computer or somesuch. It's barely better than onboard video that "supports" shaders. It may run TSE, but I would be dubious of it getting decent framerates trying to run any real degree of graphics. Realistically youl'd want at least a midrange card, like 6600/7600, 9500/X600/X1600 etc. Don't quote me on specific models, just find what the current (or older, sometimes you can find good deals like that) models are.

I guess I can always get TSE now and upgrade later.
Thanks for your help!

Oh, I was under the impression that it has direct access to RAM since it was PCI Express and that there wasn't much of a bottle neck. I will have to research a bit more on this.I guess I can always get TSE now and upgrade later.
Thanks for your help!

I'm panicking a little bit reading this now, considering my new development hardware is literally in the mail and expected to arrive tommorow... and it contains an AMD FX-62. I did a search for "tse amd dual core" and didn't get any results that explained what this issue might be, so could someone be so kind as to enlighten me?
Thanks.

I don't know if the dual core thing was ever a problem in TSE, but given it was with TGE I assume it could have been with TSE as well. Usually it was just a matter of downloading updated drivers for the processor from AMD, so shouldn't be a big deal.

Well it could have direct access to your system RAM or something too, I don't really remember, it's still a weak card even if it had a normal 64mb of RAM on it.I don't know if the dual core thing was ever a problem in TSE, but given it was with TGE I assume it could have been with TSE as well. Ya, I had the problem, just download the latest drivers from AMD if it acts strange. It fixed it for me.

Wedge - Ah, OK, cool. Thanks. I was kinda worrying that my new dev box wasn't going to be useful to me or somethin'. That's a load off my mind.
