Do you know if the 3D models provided in starter.fps exist in blender format ?
I am mainly interested by the models in the directory :

I have read the information : in blender format only the meshs are available : no animation ????
Dave
With 3dsmax one friend of me tell me that the animations are not available or max crashs when the models are opened.
I dont understand why the animation are not provided for the max model in starter.fps .
It will be a GREAT help for a lot of dummy developpers ...
Is someone has the models from starter.fps in max format and usable I am very intererested in ...
For your information :
We found only a complete max model ( with animation ) for the crossbow . But it is not readeable with 3DSmax 7 .... and max has crashed and has generated a recover file ( but unusable .... )
The only 3ds model that I get after transaltion from max is player.max ( but the animation are not provided in max format)
Generally speaking there is one or several issues with all the max models provided in starter.fps : what a pity .... it is unusable in max ... :(
Thanks for your answers

Vivendi did not want any Tribes 2 competitors comingout so various source files were not provided with the game engine including the source files that make up the animations that ship with Torque. But to be perfectly honest, there is nothing stopping anyone from working with those animations or making new replacements.
In regards to all the default MAX models.
The reason why most of the current MAX files that are in CVS dont load is because of a hack that was required to the models in order to get them to work back in the days of Max 4 and 5. I provided to GarageGames updated versions of all the files that come with CVS for Max 5 thru 8, so you should see versions that are compatable and capable of loading hopefully sometime in the future.
